Terms of Use for the Clinical Trials University Platform

Welcome to the Clinical Trials University platform. By using our website and services, you agree to the following Terms of Use. Please read these Terms carefully, as they define the rights and obligations of both the user and the platform operator.
1. Definitions
1.1 Platform – The website and related services operated by Clinical Trials University, providing access to online courses.
1.2 User – An individual or entity registered on the platform.
1.3 Courses – Educational materials made available to users, including videos, texts, presentations, and other digital content.
1.4 Administrator – Clinical Trials University, a sole proprietorship registered in Poland.
2. Registration and User Account
2.1 Registration requirements:
To use the platform, the user must create an account by providing current and accurate information.
2.2 Account security:
The user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and is fully accountable for all activities conducted through their account.
2.3 Account deletion:
The user may delete their account at any time by contacting the platform administrator at: support@clinicaltrialsuniversity.com.
2.4 Account suspension and deletion:
Clinical Trials University reserves the right to suspend or delete an account in case of a violation of these Terms of Use.
The user has the right to appeal the decision to suspend or delete their account by providing an explanation within 7 days of receiving the notification.
2.5 Acceptance of Terms:
The user must accept these Terms of Use before registering or purchasing a course.
3. Course Purchase and Use
3.1 Access to courses:
After payment, the user is granted a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to access the purchased course solely for personal educational purposes.
The license is non-transferable and cannot be assigned to another person without the written consent of Clinical Trials University.
3.2 Prohibition of sharing:
The user is prohibited from sharing course content with third parties, copying it, distributing it, or using it for commercial purposes without the written consent of Clinical Trials University.
3.3 Course access period:
Purchased courses are available to the user for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise specified in the course details.
3.4 Usage guidelines:
The user agrees to use the courses in compliance with the law and these Terms of Use.
3.5 Promotional courses:
Courses purchased as part of a promotion may have a limited access period, as specified in the promotional offer.
3.6 No guarantees:
Clinical Trials University does not guarantee that the user will achieve specific educational results upon completing the course.
4. Payments and Refunds
4.1 Payment terms:
The user must pay the full price of the course before gaining access to its materials.
4.2 Refunds:
Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy, available on the platform’s website.
5. User Responsibility
5.1 Prohibited activities:
The user agrees not to engage in activities that could disrupt the platform’s functionality, including:
Attempting unauthorized access to the system.
Distributing viruses or other malicious software.
Using course content in a manner that violates intellectual property rights.
5.2 Legal responsibility:
The user is fully responsible for any violations of these Terms of Use and for any damages resulting from their actions.
5.3 Consequences of violations:
If an account is permanently deleted due to a violation of these Terms, the user will lose access to purchased courses without the right to a refund.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
6.1 Content protection:
All course materials, including videos, texts, and presentations, are protected by the copyright of Clinical Trials University.
6.2 Prohibition of copying and distribution:
Copying, modifying, distributing, or sharing course content without written consent from Clinical Trials University is strictly prohibited.
6.3 Penalty for violations:
In the case of unauthorized copying, distribution, or sharing of course content, the user agrees to pay a contractual penalty of $40,000 USD. The penalty amount may be enforced in accordance with the laws applicable in the user’s jurisdiction. Enforcement of this penalty does not exclude the pursuit of additional claims through legal proceedings.
7. Reporting Issues and Violations
The user has the right to report technical issues or potential violations of these Terms by contacting: support@clinicaltrialsuniversity.com.
Clinical Trials University commits to responding to user reports within 7 business days.
8. Changes to the Terms of Use
8.1 Notice of changes:
Clinical Trials University reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use. Users will be notified of any changes at least 14 days in advance.
9. Disclaimer of Liability
9.1 No guarantee of functionality:
The platform is provided “as is,” and Clinical Trials University does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.
9.2 Limitation of liability:
Clinical Trials University is not responsible for any loss of data or course content caused by technical failures, force majeure, or actions of third parties.
9.3 Compliance with local laws:
The user is responsible for complying with the laws applicable in the country where they use the platform.
10. Language Versions
In case of discrepancies between the Polish and English versions of these Terms of Use, the Polish version shall prevail.
